The Wire

Wire Do I really need heavy duty cable? (A most often question asked.) YES!

A speaker is nothing more than an electrical appliance, comprised of "Coiled-up" wire called a voice coil. When electricity is sent to the voice coil, it changes temporarily into an electric magnet which reacts with the permanent magnet and begins to move in and out, very much like an electrical reciprocal motor. As with all electrical motors, if you use a small, light-gauge cord, the motor will not perform as designed. In this case, you hear less music.

We recommend our specially selected Dewar's Own speaker cable - a minimum of a true 12-gauge very pure oxygen- free copper wire to enjoy high performance from your speaker system.

Is there a difference from one CD player to the next?
